La Belgique! Tour and Dinner
Thursday, March 12th | 5:00pm - 8:00pm
$55.00 non-members: $50.00 members / students
Villa Finale tour and prix-fixed dinner at La Frite Belgian Bistro
Highlights include French furniture and decorative arts and two full parlors of Napoleonic memorabilia. A prix fixe dinner at La Frite Belgian Bistro in San Antonio's Southtown completes the evening. Admission includes tour and three-course dinner (beverages not included).

Ballet in the Park
Saturday March 14th | 7:00pm | Travis Park
Free and open to the public.
Bring a chair or a blanket and enjoy ballet under the stars!
Savor treats from food trucks, as well as beverages from the St. Anthony Hotel while enjoying classical and contemporary pieces performed by our professional dancers who call San Antonio home.

Soirée Musicale : French Language Concert
Thursday, March 19th | 7:00pm - 8:00pm | Roosevelt Library
$30.00 non-members ; $27.00 members / students
The concert will feature young vocal talent from the University of Texas at San Antonio Music Department with accompaniment on the Library’s Steinway grand piano. Selections will include French and Italian (Bonaparte’s preference) songs, as well as arias and duets. French decorative and fine art from Villa Finale’s collection will be on display in the lower level of the Library. Wine and aperitif fare will be served. The Roosevelt Library (now Stone Standard) is located at 311 Roosevelt Ave.
Chez Vatel Bistro : Gout de France
Thursday, March 19th | 218 E Olmos Dr.
$75 per person for a 6 course meal
Salmon paupiette with leeks puree. Warm rabbit and mâche salad with walnut. Seared langoustines w olive and tomato confit. Pheasant breast with a foie gras quenelle and Potato mousseline. Assorted bistro cheeses. Chocolate pistachio Charlotte.

Dinner en Blanc
Friday. March 20th | 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM | Travis Park
Free and open to the public on condition that you wear white!
Expect white tables, chairs, decorations. Surprise pop-up Entertainment and Music. Dinner en Blanc commemorates the first day of spring. Guests are encouraged to bring their own picnic baskets for dinner or purchase beautiful dinner baskets from the St. Anthony Hotel who will also provide bar service throughout the evening. All the Rage in Paris: Diaghilev’s Ballets Russes & Ballet Barre Class
Saturday, March 21st | McNay Art Museum | 10:00AM & 11:00AM
Free for members, $10 for non-members.
Tour the Exhibit "All the Rage in Paris" before discovering your own inner ballerina at the Ballet Barre Class led by a professional dancer from Ballet San Antonio. This 30-minute class is designed for beginners. Dress comfortably and bring non-skid socks. Children ages 12 and under (accompanied by parent or guardian) meet at 10:00 am. Adults and teens ages 13+ meet at 11:00 am. Registration is required: call 210.805.1768 or email education@mcnayart.org.
All the Rage in Paris exhibit focuses on Diaghilev’s Ballets Russes, the company that brought theatre—and theatre design—to the center of artistic life in Parios from 1909 to 1929.
Santé! Tour and Wine Tasting
Thursday, March 26th | Villa Finale | 5:00pm - 7:00pm
$25 non-members, $20 members and students
Curator Meg Nowack will conduct a tour of Villa Finale focusing on the museum's decorative and fine arts collections originating from France. Following th etrou is a tasting of specially selected French wine on the musuem's terrace. Aperitif fare will be served during the tasting.
This event isn't technically associated with French Cultures Month but, since Medieval Jousting is a huge part of French history, I thought I'd add it to the mix:
